Our story

Crypto4A Technologies Inc. was founded in 2017 in Ottawa, Canada, by a team of seasoned innovators who had already shaped the global cybersecurity landscape. Our co-founders, the visionaries behind the original Luna HSM at Chrysalis-ITS, SafeNet, and Thales, came together with a bold mission: to secure the world's digital future against the coming quantum threat.

With over 35 years of expertise in cryptography, secure military communications, and enterprise key management, the founding team recognized a critical gap. Traditional hardware security solutions were not built to withstand the disruptive power of quantum computing. Organizations worldwide faced the looming risk of broken encryption, compromised data, and loss of digital trust.

Crypto4A was created to solve this challenge from the ground up. Our founders envisioned the world's first quantum-safe Hardware Security Module (HSM), a platform designed not only to protect today's sensitive data, but to evolve with tomorrow's cryptographic standards. By embedding quantum-safe roots of trust, crypto-agility, and customer-first design at the core of our products, we set out to empower governments, enterprises, and critical infrastructure providers with future-proof digital security.
